Meet the Visionary

 

Dr Kayode Peter is the Senior Pastor of Abiding Word Family Christian Center, a non-denominational church founded in 2004 and located in Charles County

Maryland. He is also the President of the National Prayer Garden, a ministry that began as a vision that God placed on his heart in 2003, which focuses on healing the nations through prayer and uniting the body of Christ together, in accordance to the heartfelt prayer of Our Lord Jesus in the gospel of John 17:20-21. He obtained his Doctoral Degree of Theology 2011 from Bible Faith International Seminary where he is now a Chancellor and Professor. He is also a licensed chaplain. He is married to Dr. Olaloupe Peter who is the Co-Pastor of Abiding Word Family Christian Center. Pastor Ola, as she is affectionately known to all of us at Abiding Word, received her Doctoral Degree of Theology from Bible Faith International Seminary in 2012. Together they have three beautiful children; Faith, Joshua and Samuel. Dr. Kayode Peter teaches the word of God with passion and with such simplicity that even a child can understand. He believes that Christianity is a lifestyle not a religion, a way to live, not a way to worship.
